10-08-22 STCC AND SCOTTISH RITE FOR CHILDREN FUNDRASING SILENT AUCTION RIDE

6:00 am people start to show up at Scottish rite for children's parking lots and start to prepare for the ride. The empty, and gray parking lots are starting to fill up with colors, and start to line up in front of the Scottish rite hospital building one by one.











Saturday, October 8, 2022. We've been working on this one for a while. In 2022, we'll be focusing our non-club fundraising efforts in support of the Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco. This is an amazing facility, serving the needs of children in our area and across the nation.

What would you think about an organization that specializes in providing orthopedic care to children? One that doesn’t shy away from providing care for children for many of the world’s most complex orthopedic cases, as well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.

An organization whose motto is “Giving Children back their Childhood”. Words do matter, and actions should amplify those. The number of children treated over the years is astounding.

This is just a peek into the Scottish Rite for Children, located in Frisco, Texas. A fantastic organization founded in 1921, opening the Frisco campus in 2018.

(when can I start to ride)
This and so much more is the reason your Board of Directors has selected the amazing Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital as the focus of our “out of club” fundraiser for 2022. This fun event will be held at Scottish Rite for Children center in Frisco and will include club rides, children’s activities, a silent auction, and onsite food and drink and will take place on Saturday, October 8. Spoiler: Watch soon for the sale of a special event kit designed specially for this effort. We think you’ll be pleased with the one-time-only design, a must-have for sure!

After the ride, we had BBQ, Hamberger, hotdogs, and chips. our group leaders grill it for Stcc members to make sure they get filled up their empty tanks. Thank you guys!





















The kid's bike ride starts after lunch, and these kids are very motivated to peddle, just like their parents.
